Abstract: A new SVM multi-class classification algorithm is proposed. Firstly, the optimal binary tree is constructed by the scale and the distribution area of every class sample, and then the sub-classifiers are trained for every non-leaf node in the binary tree. For the sample to be classified, the classification is done from the root node until someone leaf node, and the corresponding class of the leaf node is the class of the sample. The experimental results show that the algorithm improves the classification precision and classification speed, especially in the situation that the sample scale is less but its distribution area is bigger, the algorithm can improve greatly the classification performance.

Abstract: The article considers the dependent process steps with attributes data. We explore the monitoring of the dependent process steps with attributes data by using two designed variable sample size and sampling interval cause selecting control charts, and then evaluate their performance by the adjusted average time to signal. Numerical example and simulation study illustrated that the proposed VSSI charts have better performance than the fixed parameters control charts. The proposed VSSI cause selecting charts are thus recommended.

Abstract: In recent years, the highly parallel graphics processing unit (GPU) is rapidly gaining maturity as a powerful engine for high performance computer. More and more researchers try to port the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations into heterogeneous computers. However, most researchers focus on exploring the computational capability of GPU, while ignore the computational capability of CPU. In order to utilize the computational capability of CPU and GPU, we propose a hybrid CUDA/OpenMP parallel programming model. And we proposed an adaptive load balancing scheme to distribute the workload among CPUs and GPUs. With this programming model, we implement a high-order CFD program on “Tianhe-1A” supercomputer system. The performance results validate the workload distribution scheme.

Abstract: With the rapid spread of image processing applications and the further development of multimedia technologies, compression standards become more and more important. This paper intends to explain JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts Group) compression, which is currently a worldwide standard for digital image compression, is based on the discrete cosine transform (DCT). Based on the research, the paper describes theory and algorithms of the JPEG DCT compression and implements a baseline JPEG codec (encoder/decoder) with MATLAB.

Abstract: Traditional sinusoidal modeling can not express spectrum of music signal factually as it only considers pitch characteristic. To solve this problem, an improved sinusoidal modeling of combining spectrum amplitude with pitch characteristic was proposed. Separation algorithm based on improved sinusoidal modeling extracts sinusoidal parameters of mix music signal utilizing sinusoidal analysis technology, and then applies grouping rules to assign these tracks to reconstruct the separated music signal. Simulation experiments demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed improved sinusoidal modeling separate algorithm.

Abstract: Because of the rapid development of Internet and information retrieval technology, and the massive amounts of complex agriculture information resources, how to retrieval the required information conveniently and accurately is an important research point that we have to overcome. In this paper, we get the information database through the initial retrieve of the existing agricultural search sites. By the method of combining the feature extraction with similarity computation based on HowNet to query extended the keyword. With the extended keyword we make a second retrieval and use the result as the finally search information to improve the recall ratio and the precision rate of the agriculture information query.

Abstract: Data Grid provides geographically distributed data resources. However, ensuring efficient and fast access to such huge and widely distributed resources is hindered by the high latencies of the Internet. Replication is adopted to address these problems. Aimed to replica creation, a model to decide replica creation opportune moment is introduced, which is based on queuing theory. Through statistical record of the arrival rate of uses, service period, and replicas already created, calculating length of queue, waiting duration time, busy period, service strength and so on, a reasonable creation opportune moment of replica can be obtained.

Abstract: This design use Java technology to develop a separate interactive online answering platform, the system integrate common network teaching tools and most online interactive function, provide interactive online answering for teachers. Once teachers enter their own relate courses web pages, it has been easily built a full interactive online answering platform, In this system, including three subsystems: student terminal subsystem, teacher terminal subsystem and management terminal subsystem. Among them, student terminal subsystem is mainly provide student to login and participate in question-answering, teacher terminal subsystem is mainly provide teacher to login and manage their own student and question-answering, management terminal subsystem is mainly manage related and content users. After the test of practice, the systems practicability is strong, it can better solute the courses exchanges between teacher and student.

Abstract: Security and stability are important for interactive behavior of virtual object in the virtual environment. To achieving a effective method for region limit to all virtual models is the key to secure and stable virtual environment. The paper analyzed the principle and approach of limit to model behavior region, presented a method based on VRML with validations. The method is effective for safe, stable human-computer interaction in virtual environment, and served for VR-based products design, process approach, and accurate evaluation.
