Abstract: In the paper, the hybrid of daylight and artificial light is designed in the lighting of an underground tunnel in order to achieve the effect of energy saving and emission reduction. Light pipe and LED lamps are arranged in the lighting of the underpass. The software of DIAlux and Skyvision are used to simulate for the average luminance, average illuminance and energy-saving index parameters. The energy-saving effect of hybrid lighting system with natural light and LEDs is analyzed.

Abstract: With the improvement of peoples living standard, decreasing of heating energy consumption is significant for building energy saving. The practice of household heat metering system can accelerate the promotion process of household metering, regulation and control. This can improve the indoor thermal comfort of residential building and energy saving awareness, so that it will promote the development of building energy saving and emission reduction. In this paper, room temperature control and household heat metering system are optimally designed, and intelligent on-off valve regulation is developed to control room temperature. The results show that heat waste is greatly reduced by using household heat metering system and a better thermal comfort is obtained.

Abstract: in 600 MW unit of a certain power company, the frequency conversion transformation on an axial FGD booster fan had been done, but it was found that have only little energy-saving effect and the investment recovery period would be very long. Based on performance characteristics test, the reason of this problem was analyzed. It shows that the transformation scheme in effect is unsuitable. The optimized scheme was proposed and suggesting good effect through energy-saving estimate. The company implemented optimization and then found the energy-saving index is almost the same as estimate. This problem is representative for frequency conversion transformation of fans, it can be avoided through performance characteristics test and energy-saving estimate before transformation.

Abstract: With the progress of smart grid building, the trend of load of diversity has become increasingly apparent. Under the condition of load of diversity, considering synthetically from multiple factors including electricity consumption, energy cost, environmental protection and comprehensive user’s satisfactory, the coordination and optimization model of user’s electricity energy efficiency is made up of four objective functions, including the minimum electricity consumption, energy cost, emission of and the maximum comprehensive user’s satisfactory. The coordination and optimization of user’s electricity energy efficiency is melted into the use time allocation of electricity systems, to select the right electricity behavior to implement optimization of user’s electricity energy efficiency.

Abstract: To meet the increasing energy-saving demand due to the rapid rise in fuel oil costs, a rudder bulb energy-saving device was developed. Compared with the present energy-saving devices of the rudder bulbs, the diameter was increase to 0.3 times of the propeller diameter and the rudder bulb was combined with the propeller hub to maximize its performance when located in the complex flow field around the stern, considering the hydrodynamic factors which govern the energy-saving effect. A number of model numerical predictions were carried out and the results indicated that the energy-saving for rudder bulb is around 2.03%. This paper describes the principle and procedure for the optimization design and energy saving effect prediction of the new type rudder bulb.

Abstract: Coal and industrial waste heat synergetic utilization power generation system (the synergetic system) is proposed according to the energy cascade utilization principle. The industrial waste heat is used for feedwater heating of coal-fired power generation system to substitute steam extraction from steam turbine. The thermal performance of stand-alone waste heat power generation, stand-alone coal-fired power generation, and synergetic systems were studied, to compare the power generation capability of each system using heat balance method. The results show that the power generation capability of synergetic power generation system is larger than that of the two stand-alone systems. The equivalent and same grade waste heat synergized with higher-parameter, larger-capacity coal-fired power generation systems can generate more electricity than with the low-parameter ones; the high-parameter waste heat synergized with the higher-parameter and larger-capacity power generation systems can reach larger power generation capability. The multi-energy synergetic heating mode can greatly improve the comprehensive energy efficiency and reduce the coal consumption compared with the stand-alone energy heating mode.

Abstract: From the view point of efficiency, the energy consumption coefficient was used as the energy utilization evaluation index in a water supply pumping system, and through the comparative analysis between the energy consumption coefficient and the pump efficiency, the past pump efficiency that was used as the economic index in the system could not completely and scientifically reflect the energy utilization rate of the system, while the energy consumption coefficient could intuitively reflect conveying unit volume of liquid consumption in a water supply pumping system. Based on the theory of energy consumption coefficient, the comprehensive analysis of different energy saving methods, energy saving space estimation, and average energy consumption coefficient calculation under variable conditions of the system in a water supply pumping system can give a specific guidance scheme of energy saving to the system, and it has a guidance and reference significance to the energy saving reform in the water supply pumping system.

Abstract: For the purpose of providing a scientific reference for improving energy conservation and performance of marine diesel engine, the thermal balance analysis and exergy balance analysis and emission research on ethanol diesel-oil alternative fuel of the existing diesel engine are performed. All necessary data are obtained from an actual diesel engine of KTA50-M2 which is used in a boat located in Dalian. The result shows that engine performance parameters are of no big change, however, the exhaust emissions are significantly reduced.

Abstract: This article by palladium deuterium gas-solid experimental system design, combined with the DH1716A program-controlled DC stabilized current supply and Keithley 2700 data acquisition and recording system, respectively at five different pressures, pressures triggered by experimental methods, making experiments of deuterated Palladium chemical reactions within the system, resulting in a tile level under different pressures is overheating.

Abstract: Many cities in China are being supplied with natural gases from different sources including PNGs (Pipeline Natural Gas) and LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas), critical attention should be paid to natural gas interchangeability problems. In this paper, the applicability of Weaver Indices for Chinese natural gas interchangeability prediction has been discussed. Experiment with 17 sets of domestic gas appliances and 11 natural gases about 187 test conditions has been done to analyze the interchangeability. It can conclude from experiment results that some sources of natural gas cannot be interchangeable, and Weaver Indices isnt totally suitable to predict lifting and incomplete combustion performance for Chinese natural gas interchangeability. It suggests the limits of Incomplete Combustion JI should be changed into JI0.04 and Lifting JL to JL0.95.
