Study and Application of Cold-Forming Binder for Coke Powder

Article Preview

Abstract:

Industrial molasses, along with strengthening agent, which can be served as the raw material to produce coke powder, , Investigation of cold and hot strength and compressive capacity of formed coke showed that dosing 10% of industrial molasses and 1% of strengthening agent can meet the binder production requirements. The formed coke can be the alternatives of coke nut for electric furnace smelting. The raw material of this binder is cheap and abundant in market; its production is simple, cheap and clean.
