Study on the Number of Berths of Road-Side Bus Stop

Article Preview

Abstract:

The paper introduces two methods of designing the number of berths of road-side bus stop, queue theory and regression analysis theory. Take Beijing Weigongcun bus stop as an example. On one hand, use queue theory to calculate service index to get reasonable number of berths considering the vehicle arrival disciplinarian. On the other hand, use linear and non-liner regressive analysis to calculate reasonable number of berths though analysing the 4 independent factors, which influence the parking capability of bus stop. At last, contrastively analyze the two methods on advantages, disadvantages and applicable conditions in connection with practice to make up for the comparison research field.
