Research of Coal Desulfurization on Microwave

Article Preview

Abstract:

Coal carry mass of high-sulfur coal, in order to solve the desulfurization problems, the use of microwave irradiation to coal desulfurization was studied. Exploring the temperature of microwave irradiation and raw coal moisture on the influence of coal desulfurization, the research results showed that the coal desulfurization rate could reach 25.91%. The proximate analysis of coal samples before and after by microwave radiation, the basic physical properties of coal sample after microwave irradiation didn’t change. Through XRD testing, founding that the coal sample’s mineral crystal did have little change after microwave irradiation, and chlorite and marcasite (FeS2) etc mineral crystal disappeared, and turned into emery and magnetite etc.
