Abstract:

Aiming at the problem that the overrunning clutch existing manufacturing error. Established the geometric model of overrunning clutch and the dynamic model using Adams, and then analyzed the engagement properties of the overrunning clutch with actual manufacturing error. Comparing with that of no manufacturing error, the angular velocity of outer race have large impact, the start-up sensitivity, stability of the clutch declined and the bearing capacity reduced because of the manufacturing errors of a group of sprags. The manufacturing errors of a group of the sprag makes the carrying capacity of the clutch is decreased. This paper provides some bases for manufacture of sprag clutch.
