Improvements on a Mobile IP Registration Protocol Featured with User Anonymity

Article Preview

Abstract:

Security of mobile IP is very important for seamless roaming in heterogeneous mobile environments. Recently, Dang et al. proposed a new scheme for secure registration procedure of mobile IP. However, we found out that the scheme had three weaknesses in security or performance. In this paper, we point out the weaknesses of their scheme and give some improvements in order to achieve user privacy and protocol efficiency.
