Structural Design of a Multi-Degree-of-Freedom Scalable Tree Trimmer

Abstract:

The tree trim is an important part of the fruit tree planting and landscape tree management. In this paper, it aimed at domestic plants trimmed work low level of mechanization, labor-intensive and trim efficiency and low status quo, according to the actual working environment of the plant trim work. A Multi-Degree-of-Freedom Scalable Tree Trimmer was designed, its head can do multiple DOF motion ,and its body height can freely telescopic adjustment. It is able to improve the mechanization degree of tree trim work, to reduce the cost of trim work and shorten the time of trim work. It is also could improve working conditions and improve the safety of the tree trim work.
