Cavity Tool Path Optimization in High-speed Milling Based on NX CAM

Abstract:

This paper first mapped out a processing scheme of handle shell injection mould cavity, then carried out the manufacturing simulation of the cavity by making use of NX CAM, furthermore, it made an analysis to the phenomenon of the residuary materials left at the corner area when milling cavity in a high-speed. At last, the thesis proposed the best tool path optimizing strategy.
