Study on Calculation of Settlement of Rigid Pile Composite Foundation under Embankment Load (Part I)

Abstract:

Based on analysis deformation characteristics of rigid pile and soil under the embankment load pile composite foundation. This paper does to work as follows. First of all, problems of previous pile-soil displacement model were analyzed, and an improved displacement mode has been proposed. Secondly, the stress of pile and soil was analyzed. Base on the analysis, some further work was done in the part II. An engineering example was analyzed and shows in part II.
