Energy Dissipation Research of Frame and Isolation Structure under Rare Earthquake

Abstract:

This paper base on analysis of upper structure by SATWE and the effect of Isolation structure under the different horizontal seismic decrease coefficient by ETABS, and using PERFORM-3D on the macro to consider the energy dissipation of all the structure. In this article, there are four different coefficient: 0.25, 0.3, 0.35 and 0.4.Since when seismic intensity is 8 and the coefficient is less than 0.3, you must think about vertical seismic action, so the point of the coefficient 0.3 is a turning in the intensity curve of all the structure. Final we draw a conclusion that with the coefficient decreasing the energy dissipation of the nonlinear is reduced.
