Construction WasteTreating Based on Urban Planning

Abstract:

During the construction of large-scale infrastructure in China, the construction waste becomes a major environmental problem hampered the development of urban. In this study, the treating models of construction waste were analyzed. A case study was implemented in Xiaoting district in Yichang. It was proposed that the treatment can be started from urban planning, including controlling the source of construction waste on macro, designing transportation route of construction waste reasonably, and establishing regional system of joint control points, and constructing the governance model which used "building garbage's disposal" as the core of corridor of industrial chain economy. Finally, a practical kind of urban construction waste processing means and method was put forward which can provide scientific basis for construction of low carbon city.
