Abstract:

Contribution deals with the external of compensatory steps to equalize difference in height between adjoining terrain transmittance and first floor of the building overhead. Function of balancing steps constitutes the transition between exterior and interior with the role of helping the human body to adapt to changing external conditions and the impact of the transition from the outside in and vice versa. Stairs should be safe, non-slip and harmony with the overall architecture of the building.
