A Node Design for Wireless Multi-Mode Sensor

Article Preview

Abstract:

To solve the problem that the present geological monitoring system's large size and high power consumption, this paper designed a miniaturized and high integrated geological monitoring sensor node. The node uses acceleration sensors and temperature-humidity sensors to detect the environmental parameter, and use GPRS module to construct wireless transmission system, which greatly improves transmission distance and reduces the difficulty of the networking, and uses MSP430F5 series micro-controller to control the node. After experiments and testings, the multi-mode wireless sensor nodes introduced in this paper, can effectively measure the information of of the earth's surfaces, such as the humidity, tilt angle and displacement, and so on . It will have a certain engineering value in geological monitoring areas.
