Virtual Machine Deployment Strategy Based on the CPU Weights

Abstract:

Aiming at the cloud computing virtual machine deployment problem of low utilization rate of physical servers, this paper proposes several methods, using quantitative method considering the physical server CPU and memory to deploy the virtual machine, and consider the virtual machines and the physical servers CPU weights, comparing the virtual machines CPU weights with physical servers CPU weights, choose the physical server that the CPU weights is closest as a deployment target. The simulation results show that: these methods can effectively improve server utilization, reduce the number of physical servers.
