Research on Modeling and Performance of Steering Operating System

Abstract:

The driver control vehicle steering with steering wheel when vehicle simulator test,in order to have a good steering operating experience,the steering operating system should provide a torque changing with vehicle state parameter.When comes to performance of steering operating system,this paper mainly consider the steering wheel torque,aiming at doing a research to find if this system can output a certain value of steering wheel torque.This paper build a model of steering operating system,get a transfer function of this system with parameter identification,and analyze its frequency response characteristic.Finally conduct a test about the real performance of steering operating system.
