ANSYS Workbench for Static Analysis of Excavator Arm

Article Preview

Abstract:

3D solid model of the excavator arm was established by using UG, and then imported into ANSYS Workbench through the interface of UG and ANSYS Workbench. ANSYS Workbench software was used to carry out static simulation and analysis, and got the stress contours and displacement contours of the moving arm. From the simulation results we can obtain that the stress of excavator moving arm was biggest, which offered theoretical references for the design and for further improvement of the excavator arm .
