Abstract: This paper presents a pointer instrument calibration method based on template matching, which segments the image that area closest to the pointer by setting the width on the basis of the meter needle positioning, scans the region from top to bottom line by line, determines smaller rectangular area containing calibration digital only, uses template matching to identify numbers theory to identify the calibration digital in the region. Experiments show that this method can identify the calibration digital quickly and efficiently in analog measuring instruments.

Abstract: We herein simulate the scheduling process of automatic guided vehicle (AGV for short) with Plant Simulation, and try to obtain an optimal configuration for meeting practical engineering requirement in one assembly plant. We defined the predetermined loading station, unloading station and walking path simulation, and obtain a specific simulation time. Then, we build AGV simulation model, import data, define procedures and run the simulation process. By running the model repeatedly, we obtained the cost time and utilization rate of AGVs in each group in the process, and compared the simulation time to obtain the appropriate number of AGVs. The machine utilization results verified our simulated AGV configuration.

Abstract: In order to avoid getting the CAD model of the workpiece repeatedly in ultrasonic inspection, we use a few measurement points on the workpiece and the template to match the position, and use coordinate transformation in CAD template to quickly generate CAD model of the workpiece under test in the scanning system. In this paper, several aspects such as kinematics modeling for mechanical arm, ultrasonic measurement, surface reconstruction and profiling measurement are studied to introduce the specific process of getting a detection template.

Abstract: As a result of bad real-time character of detecting water quality by traditional method, in this paper, we illustrate a new remote water quality system which is designed based on WSN, and consists of wireless sensor nodes, sink nodes and a monitoring center. All nodes are built by CC2530, designed in lower power mode, and organized by Zigbee network to gather water quality parameters such as: PH, DO and turbidity. GPRS module, which is combined in the sink node, is responsible to send managed data to monitoring center which analyses, process and display the water quality parameters to users.

Abstract: This paper presents an experimental system using seismic waves to detect buried targets, including the source subsystem, the receiver subsystem and signal processing systems; from a number of source programs for different test environments, outdoor sand chose easy to operate, can effectively produce vibrations signal source and a heavy percussion source in the laboratory using a speaker source; based on three-axis magnetic-electric geophones, geophone array to establish a receiving system.

Abstract: The guaranteed cost of networked control systems with long time delay is researched. Using the algorithm of augmented vectors, the form of the state equation of the system is changed and it becomes more simple. Then the corresponding performance index is given. Finally, a suitable guaranteed cost control law of the NCSs (Networked Control Systems) is designed by simple matrix inequalities. The results meet the stability of the system and the requirement of performance index. An simulation example is employed to illustrate the validity of the method.

Abstract: In view of the recent problem of serious water waste at school, this paper proposed a kind of distributed water supply system. This system can control the water resource inside school by network build in the local power line. This paper mainly introduced the system structure, hardware constitution, the software process of upper computer between lower computer of such distributed water supply system, and through the test prototype, it completed the experiment, comparison and analysis.The experiment result shows that such water supply system can improve significantly the water saving rate of school, even to 38 percentages, and has excellent application value.

Abstract: Considering the virtual characters in the virtual environment are generally inflexible, devoid of personality and emotion, this paper takes full account of the impact of personality on behavior, and points out a "plan-TO-action" converter based on Gaussian probability distribution function and the FSM (Finite State Machine). The work of converter is to evaluate some parameters, such as time and place in the planning process, combined with the personality of the virtual character, producing the final action. The converter is applied in a prototype system for digital home.
