Peculiarities of Damage Cluster Distribution in Loaded Materials: Simulation with Probabilistic Cellular Automaton

Article Preview

Abstract:

Distribution of damage clusters according to size and local density is investigated on the basis of probabilistic cellular automaton proposed by the authors. Specific features of the distributions typical for systems that are prone to disasters are identified.
