Synthesis of Spherical La2Mo2O9 Nanoparticles Using Sol-Gel Process

Abstract:

La2Mo2O9 nanoparticles were synthesized successfully using Sol-gel process with (NH4)6Mo7O24·4H2O, La (NO3)3·6H2O and citric acid as original materials. The result shows that well-crystallized spherical La2Mo2O9 nanoparticles were formed at 600°C with sizes of ca. 50~80 nm. The synthesized La2Mo2O9 nanopartile were characterized by XRD, TEM and IR, respectively.
