Abstract: Wind loads on buildings in realistic environments may be considerably either increase or decrease by interference buildings. It is commonly known as interference effect. This effect depend on the geometry and arrangement of these structures. It is objective of this work to study the interference effects of the tall buildings which have the different aspect ratios, upstream terrain conditions, distance between adjacent structures and direction. The obstructing model used in this work have the aspect ratio of 2, 3 and 4 and the distances between adjacent buildings are 0.5B, 1.0B, 1.5B and 2.0B, which B is the width of the building. And the above experimental results were compared with experimental data measured on isolated building.

Abstract: It is of great importance to innocuity, minimization and reutilization of manganese slag generated in manganese products by electric furnace process. In the paper, ordinary Portland cement is replaced by manganese slag part then to evaluate manganese slag's influence on the mechanical properties. The experimental results obtained show that ordinary Portland cement added less than 20% by manganese slag was improved in mechanical performances and the cement concrete added less than 20% by manganese slag was not changed significantly. To reduce the economic costs, enhance mechanical properties, manganese slag can replace part of cement concrete.

Abstract: The blast furnace slag is an industrial solid waste in the production process, this paper deals with the blast furnace slag as products -- artificial jade cup handicraft lost wax casting process of high additional value of main raw material, firstly analyses the production process of chemical composition and artificial jade common blast furnace slag and natural jade, then the detailed design of the lost wax casting process of artificial jade cup, including manufacturing, shell mould manufacturing, dewaxing, baking, imitation jade material melting and casting. The lost wax casting method for producing artificial jade crafts complex products, the added value of products, so as to achieve a high added value utilization of blast furnace slag.

Abstract: Microperforated panel (MPP) absorbers have been developed rapidly and used in many fields in recent years. First, based on the Maa’s theory, the theoretical development of MPP is reviewed in this paper. Furthermore, structure design and processing technology of MPP are introduced. Finally, the further development of MPP is discussed. Based on the MPP theory and electro-acoustical equivalent circuit principle, sound absorption properties of three-leaf microperforated panel (TMPP) absorbers without a rigid backing are studied to broaden the sound absorption bandwidth of MPP structure. Simulation results show that TMPP absorbers without a rigid backing have two resonance peaks and the energy dissipated coefficient remains constant in the low frequency range. The resonance frequency moves toward low frequency region with the increasing of the distance, thickness and pore diameter of MPP and moves toward high frequency region with the increasing of the perforation when other parameters keep invariant. The energy dissipated coefficient more than 0.5 over 8 octaves by choosing proper parameters. In conclusion, TMPP absorbers without a rigid backing have good sound absorption properties in a wide frequency range.

Abstract: Influence of different kinds and mixing amount of the alkaline activators on the strength of fly ash-cement gel sand materials is discussed through experiment wit 29 group test specimen. The rupture strength and the compressive strength with the age of 3 and 28 days of test blocks mixed with NaOH or CaO are compared each other. The early activity of fly ash can be activated by mixing the alkaline activator. The early activity of fly ash can be activated by mixing with the alkaline activators. The setting time of fly ash-cement binders becomes better. And the early strength can be improved. The activated effect of fly ash-cement binders by different type of the alkaline activators is affected by the age of test blocks. The activated effect mixed with CaO is better than the effect mixed with NaOH.

Abstract: The blast furnace slag is an industrial solid waste in the production process, this paper deals with the blast furnace slag as moulding technology products -- artificial Purple Jade ship crafts high value-added main raw material preparation, analysis of the chemical composition of blast furnace slag and natural jade, moulding process for artificial Purple Jade ship blast furnace slag prepared were designed, including process analysis, press, die structure design, selection of heating system design, molding equipment checking. The molding method is suitable for the production of large quantities of artificial jade crafts, high production efficiency, so as to achieve a high added value utilization of blast furnace slag.

Abstract: Manufacturing activities of people and combustion engines utilisation are accompanying by development of various gases, that are not natural part of atmosphere or their production exceedes limiting attributes specified for them. Burning fossil fill, fuelling by burning engines escape to atmosphere nitrogen oxides, carbon oxide, carbon dioxide, sulphur oxides, organic compounds as aldehydes, ketones, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. At present the attention turnes primarily on so-called greenhouse gases and gases impierment stratospferic ozonous layer, between that are belong also nitrogen oxides, carbon dioxide, methane ,halogenic hydrocarbons. At concentration reduction of greenhouse gases partially sorbents are usable, which includes also zeolites.

Abstract: Invertebrates are important components of stream ecosystems. A field experiment was conducted to study the effects of substrate particle size, shape and roughness on the composition and biodiversity of invertebrates. The results show that the particle sizes, porosity, and interstial dimensions of the substrate affect the invertebrate community, while the shape and surface roughness of the substrate do not strongly affect the benthos composition and density. The invertebrate composition in the gravel is stable. The density and species richness in the gravels, leaf humus and are much higher than those in the black silt and sands.
