Abstract: In this paper, a low gravity experimental scheme with weight-balanced suspenders is proposed to solve the problem of the low-gravity environments simulation for the space manipulators (SM), in which the optimal location of the hanging point can be obtained from theoretical analysis. In addition, according to low gravity experiment requirement and motion path of the SM, the kinematical equation in terms of D-H method is built, the suspender adaptability under horizontal and inclined conditions are studied respectively using MATLAB, and a solution for suspender interference is proposed and verified. The test results confirmed the validity of the proposed scheme.

This article aims to introduce the every country’s definition of Microgrid and its significance, discuss the key technologies in Microgrid research, including control technologies, management techniques and so on; Secondly, I summarize the key problems of Microgrid in current stage; Finally, discuss the trend of Micro-grid in the light of the current development status and problems.

Abstract: Power electronics products are widely used in industrial control, requirements of power quality have become more sophisticated. So how to improve voltage quality and how to ensure that the system is stable is an important and urgent issue. This paper briefly discusses evolution of STATCOM development, including the difference from the other compensation devices, the characteristics of STATCOM, the research status, the key technologies of STATCOM, and the trend in the future.

Abstract: Power storage technology serves to cut the peak and fill valley, regulate the power frequency, improve the stability, and raise the utilization coefficient of the grid in the power system. This paper introduces various types of storage technology such as superconducting magnetic energy storage, super capacitor energy storage, sodium sulfur battery, lithium ion, flow battery technology, and discusses their advantages and disadvantages. The development trend and the different applications of storage technology in the power system are also summarized.

Abstract: Harmonics of power system seriously affected the quality of electric power. Active Power Filter (APF) [ which overcomes the shortcomings of passive filter (PF) has become main technology to suppress harmonic. In this paper, development history, key technology, problems and trends of APF are mainly analyzed and reviewed. With development of key technology of APF, it will have a better application prospect.

Abstract: This paper is mainly focused on the analysis of the subspan oscillation to bundled conductors.The mechanics of subspan oscillation were analyzed. Considering anti-adsorption conditions and the amplitude 1imitations of sub-conductors, the calculating methods of largest subspan distance of bundle conductors were given. The mechanics of anti-subspan oscillation of spacer dampers was analyzed and a mechanical model of damping spacer damper was established. By calculating an engineering example, a real problem was calculated and evaluated, which was validated to be reasonable. Finally, a suit of calculation and simulation software was developed to facilitate the designers.

Abstract: There is little work on electromagnetic properties of lapped joints at the metal surface. In this paper, we improve the application of Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD) to the total field border and the absorption conditions in the computed areas for electromagnetic coupling of lapped joints. The process of electromagnetic pulse penetrating into the coupling of lapped joints is simulated. Equivalent magnetic flows at the aperture of the joints are computed. Our work provides an algorithm that can be used to investigate the pattern of coupled resonance of lapped joints.

Abstract: This paper introduces basic working principle of electromagnetic inertial actuators and establishes the mechanical model of actuator. With the method of three-level series permanent magnet, the actuator structure design was completed. According to the structure of the actuator, the magnetic circuit model of actuator was determined, and the design of magnetic circuit was completed. Through the comparison and analysis, the type of both ends of the cage was determined. The simulation analysis of actuators’ magnetic field was studied by using ANSYS, and then the parameters were optimized. The parameters of the optimal solution are concluded, and a way to the actuator parameters is found. This provides a theoretical basis for the production, development of the actuator, and provides a train of thought for the design of the new type of actuators in active vibration control.

Abstract: In this paper, we give an introduction to all-optical switching in power communication network. We apply the all-optical technology into electric power communication network. Edge node is designed to complete the optical packet optical packet generation and split into groups of common features. The core node is designed to forward optical packet to complete way finding functionality. All-optical technology shows advantages in protecting the transmission of real-time business requirements to maximize bandwidth utilization and network availability.
