Abstract: This paper makes a prediction about the daily power generation of the photovoltaic power station in Wuhan International Exhibition Center by the application of multivariable grey theory model and compares the forecasted results with the real results. This research proves that the application of the theory of multivariable grey model on short-term prediction of photovoltaic power generation can achieve a good prediction effect, which also has certain engineering application value.

Abstract: The micro-grid power supply scheme in campus based on the grid-connected solar energy PV power generation system is designed in this paper. This system mainly consists of solar power, diesel generation, it will can be incorporated into the local grid after it has been built. This results show that using this scheme can improve the reliability of power supply system in campus and reduce the cost.

Abstract: In recent years, with the improvement of the level of development and modernization of industry, more energy is needed, so the desire for clean new energy is growing. Solar energy is undoubtedly the most watched in many types of new energy. Solar Power Satellite (SPS) as a major program has been highly anticipated since it's proposed. Studies have been considering it as for a circular orbit. But there are some disadvantages on circular orbit such as inefficiency and complexity of the transmission link. So it is very important to research the SPS on highly elliptical orbit. In this paper, firstly, a particle - cylinder model is established. Then, dynamics simulation of Solar Power Satellite on highly elliptical orbit is based on this model. The simulations about mature orbit verify the feasibility and accuracy of the model. So this method provides a valuable reference for Solar Power Satellite deployment.

Abstract: This research paper presents the experimental results of drying of chili by using the active solar dryer and sun drying because of chili is a commercial agricultural product of Thailand. The active solar dryer consisted of a solar collector, a drying chamber and a chimney. The small fans were installed in the solar collector of active solar dryer to provide the air flow circulated in the solar collector and a drying chamber. Drying of chili of 20 kg from moisture content 84 percent wet basis to 10 percent wet basis following the Thai Agricultural Standard (TAS 3001-2010) showed that the use of the active solar dryer to make the drying time reduced about 28.7 percent compared with sun drying because of the hot air temperature inside the drying chamber higher than the ambient temperature about 10 to 15 . The quality of dried chili from the active solar dryer better than dried chili from sun drying.

Abstract: Solar energy has been widely used in desalination systems. A low-temperature multi-effect desalination system driven by solar is constructed for a series of experimental studies. The results show that water production rate grows with solar radiation, and maintains at a high level between 12am to 4pm. The optimized heat water flow is 1400 kg/h and appropriate cooling water temperature is 24 °C, respectively.

Abstract: Photovoltaic power system (PV system) includes grid-connected and off-grid (islanding) types. With the improvement of power supply reliability, it is necessary to provide distributed PV power system with functions of grid-connection and off-grid operation, which as well as being easily switched. This research comparative analyzes on model of AC bus and model of DC bus of grid-connected and off-grid PVsystem and presents the control strategy. In order to safely operate and seamlessly switch grid-connected and off-grid, PV system is furnised constant-power control and constant-voltage frequency control with switching operation. Additionally, the switch junction for off-grid and the public supply system must be connected to the synchronization device for controling system of PV system therefore the PV system can be safely operated and switch from off-grid to grid-connected can be smoothly and rapidly.

Abstract: What are the photovoltaic properties of solar cell, the operating principle of DC/DC conversion, the overall scheme of MPPT as well as the algorithm of maximum tracking power point combine the actual situation of space power system, with the introduction of the modular MPPT algorithm. These aim to study how to improve the utilization efficiency of the field monitoring equipment about the solar-powered accumulator energy-saving control system for solar energy. Using solar power meter can detect changes curve of light intensity so as to obtain parameters for the simulation, and then we can establish the photovoltaic array simulation model to gain the three actual tracking power curves of the combined algorithm, the perturbation method and the incremental conductance method and stabilize the best output voltage of solar cells while using Buck Circuit to reduce voltage to charge for nickel-cadmium accumulator pack. As a result, the system can achieve the uttermost steady operation with the reliability improved. The design adopts the DC/DC boost circuit to providing charging system for battery and utilizes the DSP program to generate the PWM to track the maximum power output (MPPT). This system has the advantages of the simple circuit structure, the good waveforms and the accurate measurement result, which conforms to the design requirements.

Abstract: This paper proposes “an improved solar though concentration PV/T system with an extra temperature raising stage”, which adds reheating stage on the basis of cogeneration to achieve high-quality power output and high-temperature thermal power output. Two systems have been established. Output characteristics of 1.8m2 cogeneration and 15m2 extra temperature raising stage system with different opening widths of mirror are tested respectively through experiment, as well as output performance of 30m2 extra temperature raising stage system.

Abstract: The solar air collector is a kind of commonly solar thermal device, which has simple structure and low cost. And it is widely used in building heating, product drying and other areas. The paper broadly introduces working principles, advantages and disadvantages of the solar air collector. And it emphasizes to introduce research status of the solar air collector, at same time the paper gives some opinions about the future developing direction of the solar air collector.
