The Design and Optimization of Boom of Tunnel Multi-Purpose Installing Truck

Article Preview

Abstract:

This paper designed a boom of multi-purpose installing truck combined with the tunnel construction circumstances of China. The kinematics equations of the truck were obtained by establishing the working space and the connecting rod coordinate system of boom of multi-purpose installing truck. Finite element analysis method was used for the mechanical analysis of boom. The results indicate that in different conditions, the boom satisfied strength requirements and hinge pivots of boom at the top had a larger displacement which had little effect on the whole platform.
