Analysis and Simulation of Virtual Dense Storage System

Abstract:

To avoid the disadvantages of the traditional storage system, the dense storage system is presented. In the dense storage system, many cargo boxes can be stored on the shelf depth direction, and the shuttle car is adopted as the transport equipment. Based on Flexsim software, through the simulation analysis, the results showed that the efficiency of the intensive storage system decreases, but the storage area and equipment costs are greatly reduced.
