Abstract:

The parallel bars is one of the advantage projects of the Chinese men's gymnastics teams. The basket with full turn to handstand on parallel bars belongs to the high F group action, which is an important mean to obtain a higher difficult point, and requires a higher technology. We shot Zhang Chenglong’s (who won the champion in 2012 China Gymnastics Championship) action. The kinematics rule and technique characteristics revealed by the analysis of the action provided reference for the training of coaches and athletes.
