Design of a Novel Automatic Access Control System

Abstract:

To solve the shortcoming of access control system of venues, a novel automatic control system is designed. It is divided into electronic tickets, access door control nodes and management service center. The hardware is designed based on RFID technology and embedded ARM. The software is designed based on μC/OS-II, embedded C language and database programming technology. Experimental results and analysis show that the average management efficiency of the proposed system is 38.4% higher than that of traditional manual methods, and the average control accuracy is about 48.9% higher than that of the manual approach. The system can effectively enhance the level of automation and efficiency of the venues access control, and it has higher practical value and promotional value.
