Design of a Walking System for the Pot-Seedling Hole-Forming Machine

Abstract:

In order to solve design problems in the intermittent walking system, a walking system for the pot-seedling hole-forming machine was designed. It is composed of the rack, motor, driving shaft, driving wheel, guide wheel and geneva mechanism. Main structural parameters for this system were determined and a mathematical model for kinematic analysis built. Based on this model, kinematic parameters like displacement, velocity and acceleration were worked out. In addition, a variation curve was established. The prototype test has shown that this system can meet requirements on intermittent walking of the pot-seedling hole-forming machine and features simple structure, low cost, easy handling and maintenance.
