Article Preview

Abstract:

Pig farmers’ behaviors of veterinary drug usage will affect the quality safety of pork products. Based on factor analysis and the field research of pig farmers, this paper makes the evaluation research on pig farmers’ usage behaviors of veterinary drugs with real evidences. And the results show that: the indexes of pig farmers’ behaviors of veterinary drug usage are a bit low, and the main factor that restricts pig farmers’ behaviors of veterinary drug usage is that pig farmers lack knowledge of the usage of veterinary drugs. Through the behaviors such as establishing the guidance on drug usage and keeping medication administration records, pig farmers’ behaviors of veterinary drug usage can be standardized to some extent.
