This volume gives an overview of the fundamentals and applications of nanoscience and nanotechnology. The papers present up-to-date fundamental research, innovative top-down and bottom-up methods and new technologies towards the development of nanodevices. The effort to share and churned new knowledge in this field are geared towards enhancement and efficient energy conversion, conservation of natural resources, reduction of pollution and overall improvement our quality of life.
Around the globe, energies and carbon dioxide emissions are of great concern to all of us.
