About:

Diffusion Foundations and Materials Application (DFMA) is a new book series that evolved naturally from the journal Diffusion Foundations (DF). Its contents are intended to be in the form of extended papers and reviews that cover both the fundamental and applied aspects of mass transport and heat transport in solids, liquids and gases. Accepted topics in materials applications include: additive manufacturing, multiscale modelling, materials processing, nuclear materials, continuous phase transformations, light metals and alloys, composites, nanostructured materials, functional nanomaterials, electronic materials, energy and environment, biomaterials, corrosion. Diffusion Foundations and Materials Applications specializes in the invited publication of thematically complete volumes and is a peer-reviewed publication. If you have an interest in being a guest editor of a volume of Diffusion Foundations and Materials Applications, please contact one of the Editors or a member of the Editorial Board. The individual chapters are also considered by the series.
