Research on Mechanical Properties of Different Carbon Fiber Reinforced Epoxy Resin Composite Materials

Article Preview

Abstract:

Three kinds of carbon fiber reinforced epoxy resin prepreg, T300, T700 and M40X, were selected to prepare carbon fiber reinforced epoxy resin composites by molding method. The flexural properties, interlaminar shear properties and compression properties of the composites were studied, and the micro morphology of the composites was analyzed. The results show that the flexural strength, interlaminar shear strength and compressive strength of T700 fiber reinforced epoxy resin composites are higher than those of M40X carbon fiber reinforced epoxy resin composites, and the resultant mechanical properties of T700 carbon fiber reinforced epoxy resin composites are relatively optimal.
