Preparation and Thermal Conductivity of Hf6Ta2O17 Ceramic

Article Preview

Abstract:

Hf6Ta2O17 ceramic powder was prepared by solid state reaction at 1600°C for 10 hours. The phase and microstructure of Hf6Ta2O17 ceramics were observed. The XRD results revealed that the sintered sample of the ceramic powder had single phase and the SEM results showed that the sintered sample was comparative dense. The thermal conductivity of the sintered sample was investigated and the value was comparative low.
