The Remote Monitoring System for Key Sewage Displacements Based on GPRS and GIS

Article Preview

Abstract:

Facing to the problem of increasingly serious water pollution, it is significant to monitor the key sewage displacements in real time and dynamically using modern information technology, which is an effective aid to sewage treatment. This paper proposes a solution for monitoring the key sewage displacements based on GPRS and GIS technology, discusses the system architecture, function module and database system design (especially the spatial database design). Moreover, it introduces the implementation of system in detail such as hardware system, message transport protocol and application system. The running result shows that the solution is feasible, and the system has characteristics of low cost, stable and multi-dimensional data display with GIS.
