Research on the Optimization of Engineering Drawings’ Adjusting Technology Based on Parametric Variant Design

In allusion to the existing shortage of engineering drawings’ adjusting technology, such as time-consuming, imperfect method, complex process, etc., an optimization for them was carried out. The benefits and shortcomings of commonly used view scale adjusting method were discussed and its adjusting process was optimized. Through researching the stretch law of model edges, putting forward the notion of dimension angle and protracting the assembly layout sketch based on it, the view position adjustment was simplified. By studying the distribution law of dimensions, a convenient way to adjust the position of dimensions is proposed. In addition, by proposing the notion of annotation binding element, discussing the effect it had on the position of annotations, and using the marking method on the basis of it, the annotations adjustment was optimized.
