Overview on a Project of Recycling and Utilization of Construction and Demolition Waste in Frame Structures

Abstract:

An overview on a project of recycling and utilization of construction and demolition waste was presented in the paper. The waste was used after being crushed to aggregate size. The concrete incorporating both coarse and fine recycled aggregate was ready-mixed in concrete plant for the field application. The project has been proved to be a successful utilization of recycled construction and demolition waste in Beijing after using for more than 3 years.
