The Scenario and Development of Industrial Design Educational Program

Abstract:

Industrial design is of a great importance for the new economy. The design education scenario is focused in a local region; with the questionnaire survey method is applied. The main issues discussed are concern about the course schema, the quality of staff, the teaching conditions, the international exchanges activities and the future professional career. The causes for existing problems are analyzed based on the data obtained, and general suggestions are proposed also.
