Investigation of the Influence of the Catalyst on the Kinetics of the Synthesis of Polyesters PET and PBT

Article Preview

Abstract:

A series of syntheses of polyesters PET and PBT in the presence of an industrial catalyst of an antimony oxide, a titanium catalyst and various catalytic systems based on it was carried out. The catalytic activity of these systems was investigated and their effect on the kinetics of the synthesis process was revealed.
