Researches Regarding the Improvement of the Steel Quality

Article Preview

Abstract:

This paper presents the results obtained in what concerns the ranges of technological parameters of the secondary treatment of steel in LF plants to improve its quality by reducing the hydrogen content. The use in the industrial practice of the optimum values for these parameters allows obtaining steels with a low content of gases, especially hydrogen.
