The welding tool penetrates the joining materials up to the contact of the shoulder with their upper surface and rotates at controlled speeds, moving at a predetermined welding speed, along the joint line to weld the two joining materials, as shown in Figure 1.
Unlike fusion welding processes, in which materials reach melting temperature in the joining zone, FSW allows precise control over the reactions occurring in the solid state, making it an attractive option for joining similar and dissimilar metallic materials [3].
Joining materials - 4mm thick EN AW 1200 aluminium alloy sheets, for which FSW and SFSW welded joints have been made.

CoO doped glasses are significantly important in the materials technology in terms of optical switching devices, visible and near- infrared (NIR) laser materials, ferromagnetic sensors, etc.
In view of this, the cobalt containing glasses are used as NIR laser materials [3].

In this study, two main types of constituent materials are used to develop the new composite material.
The material was burned inside the barrel screw for homogeneous mixing two types of materials.
This revealed that the different percentage of POFA give effect to the mechanical properties of materials composite on the break force and others.
