Results and Discussion This section presents a collection of plots that show trends for pipe-leak probabilities and for the effectiveness of various ISI strategies in leak probabilities using the input data presented in Table2.
This chapter has also discussed the POD curves and the benefits of ISI in the framework of reductions in the leak probabilities for nuclear piping systems subjected to IGSCC.
The results for typical NDE performance levels indicate that low inspection frequencies can provide only modest reductions in failure probabilities.

The DAD x-ray data for the as implanted samples is displayed in Figure 1.
Annealing the 5×1016 H2+ /cm 2 implanted sample at 900 °C leads first to a reduction in the strain and ultimately (for annealing times greater than about 45 minutes) the damping of the diffraction fringes and almost complete reduction of the strain.
Figure 5 contains the DAD x-ray data for both implant conditions after a multi-step annealing regime consisting of a 24 hour anneal at 500°C followed by annealing at 900°C for various times.
This shows that a significant reduction in the annealing time at 900 °C is required to produce blisters with a 500 °C anneal.

The ECU of engine was based on calibration data and the test bed without post-treatment devices.
With fuel properties, injection timing and pre-injection quantity respectively changed, in-cylinder pressure and emissions data were measured.
At the same injection timing, it can be found that the benefit of using butanol addition for the reduction of soot emissions is obvious.
The more the proportion of butanol in the blends is, the greater the overall reduction of soot emissions can be obtained.
With oxygenated addition, the oxygen atoms could enter rich fuel region and consume soot precursors through the formation of hydroxyl radicals, combined with the latent heat of vaporization of butanol is higher than diesel and the ignition delay of the combustion prolonged, result in reduction of soot emission.

With the reduction of the channel diameter, welding conditions, such as height of the welding chamber, are worse than that of tubes with large channels (diameters of 3~5 mm).
For welded specimen, reduction of the elongation is much larger than the other two factors, which means the welded position are not suitable for the secondary forming process.
The yielding strength ratio of the webs between the channels is 0.76 according to data fitting of the test data.

This level causes the increase in the net electron concentration, leading to the formation of the ohmic contact on n-type SiC through the reduction of the depletion layer width.
A possible explanation of the formation of ohmic contact can be a reduction of the SBH with increasing annealing temperature.
From these data a small increase of the SBH can be observed with increasing temperature, that cannot explain the Schottky-Ohmic transition.
Literature data [8,9] related the formation of ohmic contact in Ni/SiC to the metal reaction and to the carbon redistribution during the reaction.
Therefore, the effective tunnelling barrier height for the transport of electrons decreases as conseguence of the reduction of depletion layer width, leading to the formation of ohmic contact.

Research results pointed out that MMT performed well in cone calorimeter tests, especially in peak heat release reduction.
The results of all samples are shown in Figure 1, and the data summarized from the curves is listed in Table 2.

First, the data point clouds is fit to curve, then the control line data is introduced to Pro/E, and the curve is constructed to surface.
