Thus, as for the general concrete structures, it can be treated as the elastic materials during the using stage under design load condition, and in this stage, it can adopt the linear elastic theory for analysis of the structure.
In order to accurately evaluate the ultimate load-bearing capacity of a structure, it has to consider the double nonlinearity, including materials and the geometry

Bio-based materials and phase change materials (PCMs) are currently being gradually noticed and emphasized as passive building envelopes.
Suitable building materials are key to enhancing indoor comfort and reducing heating and cooling needs.
Materials with strong thermal and hygric performances are essential.
Phase change materials (PCMs) as building envelope play a significant role by utilizing latent heat, improving thermal regulation capacity compared to traditional materials [9,10].

Other applications include biomedical research and the study of materials.
The second reason is that it is essential to have an understanding of the behavior of non-Newtonian fluids in a variety of scientific fields, such as nanostructured materials, technology, and biomechanics, because these fluids are frequently used in the production of cutting-edge materials, such as composites and nanomaterials, and a lack of this understanding can lead to serious problems.
The study of chemical processes is required for anybody interested in pursuing a degree in chemistry and is very essential for working professionals in subjects such as materials science, pharmacology, and environmental science.

In the lapping process of hard and brittle materials, external loads are transferred to the surface of the workpiece to increase the internal stress of the workpiece.
When the lapping method of fixed abrasive materials is adopted, most of the lapping pressure is borne by exposed diamond abrasive.
The removal of materials is a typical machining method of two-body micro-machining.
