The main aim of this paper is to simulate the flexible thixo-extrusion process of aluminum alloy A356 and investigate the control method of materials flow front.
Combining with the lack of the available data of high volume solid fraction semi-solid materials, it is difficult to obtain the flow stress of the material during the extrusion process.
