Characterization of PVAc Adhesive Penetration and its Effect on Wood Properties Yuanfeng Pan1,a, Huining Xiao2,b, Wenchen Wang3,c and Yinghei Chui3,d 1Guangxi Key Laboratory of Petrochemical Resource Processing and Process Intensification Technology, School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Guangxi University, Nanning, China 2Department of Chemical Engineering, University of New Brunswick, Fredericton, Canada 3Faculty of Forestry, University of New Brunswick, Fredericton, Canada apanyf@gxu.edu.cn, bhxiao@unb.ca, cwwang@unb.ca, dychui@unb.ca, Keywords: adhesives, glue line, penetration, shear block test.
The chemistry of the wood and adhesives has been studied extensively to learn about the influences of the adhesion mechanisms on adhesive penetration [1].
With the aid of fluorescent stains or dyes and optical sectioning, CSLM has proven to be a reliable tool to detect where and how deep the adhesives may penetrate into the wood structure.

There have been also discussions on the synthesis, luminescence quantum yields, spectroscopic characteristics, structure, among others properties of these complexes, including the possibility to produce thin films [11-13].
Luminescent lanthanide complexes are a subject of increasing interest, mainly due to their possible applications in bioinorganic chemistry [14-18].

The chemistry, charge, and structural integrity of modified silica are all impacted by temperature.
The silicate structure remained intact, as evidenced by the consistent presence of the 1035cm-1 band across all samples.
The oePP at 40oC exhibits the highest crystallinity, suggesting the formation of more ordered structures.
This suggests that higher temperatures may lead to some disordering or degradation of the crystalline structure [19].

This work was aimed at the identification of precursor structure changes by infrared spectroscopy.
Crystal structure of malachite consists of two types of disordered octahedrons.
Therefore, OH groups occupy two positions in this structure [11].

The XRD patterns is full of overlapping peaks in major phases which, in him, also possess a complex internal structure [2,3].
The QPA of calcium mono-aluminate CA amorphous phase content allows identification of its molecular structure and angular range.
As a result of MD simulation, the crystal structure obtained corresponds to stable state conditions.
