Abstract: In order to research how the strong ultraviolet impact on the performance of base asphalt, it utilizes the chambers of ultraviolet ageing environmental to simulate the field ageing conditions.
Raw materials and methods This paper according to the performance index of base asphalt that is required by the technical specifications for construction of civil airports asphalt concrete pavement(MH5011-1999)select the Panjin asphalt, and it makes a relevant test (shown in table 1).
