Preparation of Tools and Materials In addition to the preparation of waste samples, the medium used in the form of Zobell media was also prepared.
High COD concentrations indicate the presence of organic materials contained in wastewater, both those that are easily decomposed and those that are difficult to decompose [6].
The decrease in COD concentration was caused by a bacterial oxidation process which breaks down organic and inorganic materials in the wastewater sample into carbon dioxide and water.
