The process of radiation crosslinking helps to improve some mechanical properties of polymer materials.
Compared to other construction/engineering materials, mainly metals, polymers including TPEs have limited mechanical and thermal properties, which reduce their applicability significantly.

Introduction
The effort of reducing the greenhouse gas emission from high temperature firing for construction materials such as Portland cement, ceramic products and refractory manufacturing has become a motivation to develop environmental friendly construction materials.
An inorganic polymer referred to as “geopolymers” coined by Davidovits [1] is alkali activated alumino-silicate materials which possess excellent physical and chemical properties for wide range scale of applications in building and construction materials [2, 3].
Materials and methods Materials Class C fly ash according to the ASTM C618 classification was used as the main part of raw materials to prepare fly ash-based geopolymers.
Fig. 5 showed FTIR analysis of raw materials and synthesized geopolymer.
Acknowledgements The authors gratefully acknowledged the financial supports from the National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC), National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) under the Platform Technology Funding no.
