[15] In 2012, Edler architects, with a group of citizens and professionals, founded the Flussbad Berlin non-profit association to foster communication and implementation of the project, by successfully acquiring important funding.
This study confirmed the technical feasibility of water purification and the possible use of the Spree canal for bathing.
