XRD patterns have revealed the good crystalline structure for all the samples of NiO nanoparticles prepared by the sol-gel method which is also confirmed by HRTEM images.
High resolution images have shown good crystalline quality of NiO nanoparticles and on some samples a typical core-shell- structure can be seen.
Raman measurements taken at 50K also show the characteristics peaks of NiO and no significant change of the phononic patterns have been observed for all of our samples indicating that the short range structure keeps well the structure of NiO in agreement with the X-ray results.

The transfer length method (TLM) test structure was used to evaluate the contacts.
The epilayers were patterned into isolated mesas in a parallel-plate reactive ion etcher (RIE) system using SF6 and Ar chemistry and a metal mask (titanium/nickel/aluminum).
The transfer length method (TLM) test structure, as shown in Fig. 1, was used to evaluate the metal contacts [6, 7].
TLM structures consisted of five rectangular contact pads, with three subsets.

The configuration and structure were investigated with scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) techniques.
It is an alternative means to form coatings and has several advantages including low processing temperature, high crystallinity of products, application for complex shapes, changing the chemistry or processing conditions can modify the microstructure of coatings.
The analyses showed that the TO2 is main anatase structure, and the as-prepared films were all well crystallinzed, homogeneous.
