There were box body, cushion block, seal material, loading gasket and so on in the testing box.
The seal material was new with some strength and small friction, which could well insulate from high pressure osmosis water, and it can bear some deformation.
With sealed material, sample can be kept compressed in sliding.

Bovine serum albumin (BSA) as a model protein was encapsulated using these biodegradable materials.
Since most of these materials are biocompatible and biodegradable, a lot of polymers have been used as materials for the entrapment and encapsulation processes.
Materials and Methods Materials.
It may also be because of the protein solubility in SIF and/or the high swelling ratio of the materials in pH7.4.
